Meghan Allen Joins
USA Government Relations Team

Alliance has announced that Meghan Allen has joined the company as Director of
Legislative Affairs in USA's Washington, D.C., office.
Allen brings extensive experience in Congressional relations and knowledge of
NASA programs to the USA team. She will report to Kate Kronmiller, USA's Vice
President for Government Relations, and will be responsible for managing all
company activities involving Congress. Allen also will provide legislative
analysis and action planning to ensure a broad understanding of issues
associated with NASA programs and the company's involvement in them.
"We are indeed fortunate to have someone of Meghan's calibre joining the USA
team at such an important time in the space industry," said USA President and
Chief Executive Officer Mike McCulley.
Prior to coming to USA, Allen
was Director of Congressional Relations for GenCorp/Aerojet, responsible for
overseeing all Washington-based activities involving Congress on NASA,
Department of Defense and environmental issues. Before that, she worked as part
of the legislative staff for U.S. Senator Alfonse D'Amato (R-NY) handling
environmental and defence issues. She holds a B.S. in Economics and Public
Administration from George Mason University.
United Space Alliance,
established in 1995, is a leader in space operations offering extensive
experience in space launch and recovery operations; mission planning and
control; flight hardware processing; space flight training; on-orbit assembly,
payload deployment and servicing; rendezvous/proximity operations and docking;
large-scale integration and sustaining engineering. USA serves as NASA's prime
contractor for the Space Shuttle and provides operations services for the
