Vista Satellite
Communications Signs with Intelsat for Long-term Occasional Use
Capacity
(18 June 2007) Intelsat Ltd., the
world's leading provider of commercial satellite services, announced today that
it signed a multi-year contract with space segment and transmission service
provider Vista Satellite Communications, Inc.
Under the
agreement, Intelsat will provide satellite capacity that supports expansion of
Vista's occasional-use television offerings.
Through this contract,
Intelsat is providing domestic and international satellite capacity that allows
Vista to deliver more occasional use satellite time for its clients, including
Fortune 500 companies, broadcasters, cable programmers, educational
institutions, government agencies and news organisations.

completed our new state-of-the-art broadcasting facility in South Florida and
needed to increase our transmission bandwidth in order to better serve our
growing customer base," said Roy Liemer, President and CEO, Vista Satellite
Communications. "Intelsat's flexible satellite and fibre network provides the
global connectivity into key markets, cable and broadcasting neighbourhoods
that we need for our global expansion."
