(9 March 2016) SpeedCast International has been appointed by NEDA Telecommunications, the first licensed Internet Service Provider in Afghanistan, to build a satellite connected secured private network for one of the ministry offices of the Government of Afghanistan.

Under this multi-year service agreement, SpeedCast will build a new satellite-based private network with over 50 sites to deliver required connectivity and service levels to the End User. The new private network aims to provide reliable and secured connection that allows improved efficiency and productivity by extending connection coverage for the End User.
